On Monday morning, at least three schools in the national capital received threatening emails regarding bomb threats, leading to extensive searches of the school premises. This information was confirmed by a police official in Delhi.
The official reported that around 8 AM, alerts were received concerning bomb threats at Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) schools located in Prashant Vihar and Dwarka Sector-16, as well as another school in Chanakyapuri.
In response, police teams were dispatched immediately to investigate the school grounds. Ankit Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka), stated, "The Dwarka North police station received information about the bomb threat at the CRPF school early Monday morning, prompting an immediate search."
Local police, along with dog squads and bomb disposal units, arrived at the schools to conduct thorough inspections. The Deputy Commissioner mentioned that cyber police experts are currently tracing the source of the emails.
He added, "Security measures at the schools have been heightened, and so far, nothing suspicious has been found."
